The Crack Shack originally started as a passion project to transform the pristine, local ingredients from the founding team’s fine dining restaurant into a more accessible, casual setting. What started as a humble, open-air chicken spot in San Diego’s Little Italy in 2015 –- before the fried chicken sandwich craze began -- has now transformed itself into a fine casual eatery with cult following, earning the title of one of the best fried chicken restaurants in the US (Thrillist), a National Restaurant Association “Hot Concept” and recognition as a Michelin Plate honoree.

Who doesn’t love a party with chicks, craft drinks and lawn games? Gather the peeps in one of our semi-private spaces or reserve the full coop for your whole flock. Our location combines a fun, laid back atmosphere with customizable family-style menus and full bar that make it a perfect spot for any event.
We don’t believe in venue fees but do have food & beverage minimums. Food & Beverage minimums include designated seating and space for up to 2 hours. Minimums are also based on day, time, and event calendar. Select blackout dates not included. Drop us a line and we’ll send you a quote.
Food Only: $35 to $75 / person. We can customize the menu. Stations, passed apps, family style, etc.
N/A Beverages: $5 / person. Includes unlimited sodas, tea, lemonade
